SCHNEEBERG - SNOWHILL - uploaded 2006-07-02

The mountain 'Schneeberg (Snowhill)' lies in the Alps near Vienna. It is more than 2000m high and famous for a special mountain railway that was built more than 100 years ago in the times of the Austrian Emporer.

Most of the time during this day, there were severe thunderstorms and floodings in the surroundings. We used a calm period of weather to climb the top and I took several pictures of an awesome scenery that unfolded itself around me. Again the picture was taken with the 3MPixel Nikon.

During my stay in Greece I had always sunshine and no clouds. This evening was a fortunate exception.

During my stay in Bejing I went to visit the Great Wall. According to the time of the year the apple trees were blooming and this looked so beautiful that I took some pictures. This one I found worth sharing.
