THE MAP - uploaded 2005-09-26
The old scribe did what he could do best. Drawing maps for the royal merchants and explorers. He might be old now, but he had still eyes of an eagle...
First image of the rendercomic I'm working on (long time project). Most important for the story is the content of the map, so I really had to focus on that. Rendered with Poser6. Wasn't happy with the first version, so I made a second one with ambient occlusion (using Ambient Occlusion Master by face_off). This really gave the image a special touch. Just resized in Photoshop and did a little correction in contrast.
DEADLY ENCOUNTER - uploaded 2005-05-07
They were exploring those old halls and hoped to find jewels and gold. But something else had found them before and was hiding in these halls. Something fast. Something deadly...
Another render from 2004. My first render with the Millenium Dragon. Hardest part was lighting the hall with 21 spots and posing the dragon. Used DOF to give the image more depth. Rendered with Poser 5. Just contrast correction in postwork.
LOOKING OUT - uploaded 2005-05-05
The sun shines bright in the desert and air seems on fire. Nevertheless she left the cool inside of the stone temple to look out for a long awaited guest. She's a bit worried, because the guest is late and the desert is always dangerous.
This is a section of a larger scenario featuring the complete stone temple. I did this render in 2004, but I still like it, although I would do it differently today. Rendered with Vue d'Esprit 4. Minor correction in postwork. - Hall model is Dragon Hall made by myself.
